The most versatile modular cold room on the market.

Coldkit Matrix is our modular cold room developed for the preservation and freezing needs of constantly changing high-volume facilities, such as restaurants, industrial kitchens, large hotels, catering companies, and others.

MATRIX stands out for its quality certified by independent approvals. We obtained the B,s2-d0 fire reaction classification (Euroclass) for our high-pressure injected CFC-free polyurethane (PUR) panels with a density of 40 kg/m3 +/—2 and the Class 3 anti-slip certification for our phenolic resin flooring (Class 1 for our stainless steel flooring).

MATRIX demonstrates its versatility and magnificent aesthetics thanks to its materials’ quality and its complete modularity, which allows it to reach different heights, its various panel thicknesses (60, 85, 105, and 150 mm), and its wide range of accessories. It also makes it possible to create internal divisions using a partition wall separating different environments (different temperatures) and to attach another MATRIX camera.

  • Panel Features

    TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF COLDKIT MATRIX:

    General specifications Matrix panels:

    • 200mm by 200mm modules.
    • Thicknesses of 60, 85, 105 and 150 mm.
    • High-pressure injected polyurethane (PUR) insulation free of CFCs and HCFCs with a 40 kg/m3 +/- 2 density.
    • Certified Euroclass Bs2d0 (reaction to fire).
    • Connection between panels using a metal hook with anti-corrosion treatment.

    Matrix panel coating:

    Galvanized steel sheet pre-lacquered with 25-micron polyester varnish. Thickness of 0.5 mm and with protective film.

    The standard finish for Matrix panels is:

    • Interior: Smooth lacquered Pirineo White Ref.1006 / RAL 9010.
    • Exterior: Smooth lacquered Basalt Gray RAL 7012.

    Matrix also has other coating options (ask for availability):

    • Smooth lacquered color Grey RAL 9006.
    • Smooth lacquered White reference 1006.
    • Smooth AISI304 stainless steel (interior and exterior).
    • NEW PVC coating (inside) protects against shocks and scratches.
    • Antibacterial PVC.

  • Matrix Without Floor

    Features Matrix Without Floor (Matrix 60 – 85 – 10 y 150 mm – Positive):

    A particular PVC profile is supplied for positive temperatures (storage) for quick installation and fixing.

    Doors:

    Choose between different sizes of standard pivot doors, with the possibility of moving the leaf on the door panel to adapt to the characteristics of the installation. Also, the NEW possibility of inserting a pivot door with a new design that includes an AISI304 stainless steel band, giving it a more modern look.

    All our pivot doors have a new, more resistant, reliable, attractive, and integrated locking system with key lock, interior opening, right or left opening direction, and interior push-button release.

    You can also switch to a sliding door, where you’ll find a new model with a sash and handle made from high-performance AISI 304 stainless steel. Thanks to its clip fastening, the new guide is quick and easy to install.

    Or change it to a service door.

  • Matrix With Floor

    Features Matrix With Floor (Matrix 60 – 85 – 10 and 150 mm – Positive and Negative):

    For positive (storage) and negative (freezing) temperatures.

    Reinforced Phenolic floor panel:

    This floor panel is recommended for conventional service loads. It is made from 9 mm plywood (CTBX), coated with non-slip brown phenolic resin. The material used in the factory is Finnish birch wood.

    Super-reinforced aluminium floor panel:

    This two-layer floor consists of a 6 mm thick wooden base and a 3 mm thick non-slip aluminum surface with checkered relief. Due to its design, composition, and characteristics, this flooring will provide your MATRIX cold room with maximum safety and resistance without sacrificing the best design and appearance.

    Stainless steel reinforced floor panel:

    This floor panel is recommended for conventional service loads. It is made of 9mm plywood (CTBX), coated with 0.6mm class 1 non-slip stainless steel sheet.

    Super reinforced floor panel in Phenolic or Stainless Steel:

    Slip-resistant flooring in both super-reinforced finishes recommended for particularly high service loads. It has a 9 mm plywood (CTBX) inner lining, coated with a non-slip stainless steel sheet on another 0.60 mm thick lacquered sheet, or phenolic resin, adhered to the inner side of the plywood.

    Doors:

    Choose from different sizes of standard pivot doors. The leaf on the door panel can be moved to suit the characteristics of the installation.     ACCESSORIES INCLUDED:

    • Sanitary profile around the entire perimeter of the cold room.
    • Balance valve for negative cold rooms.
    • For negative cold rooms with a floor, a NEW injected PVC threshold improves mechanical resistance.

    OPTIONAL COLDKIT MATRIX ACCESSORIES:

    With Coldkit, you can complete and personalize your Matrix cold room with the following options:

    • Replace the pivot door with a sliding door or a service door.
    • Add a pivot door, a sliding door, or a service door.
    • Divide your Matrix cold room using a partition wall and add doors.
    • Add a Matrix cold room to another Matrix cold room of the same height, thickness, and floor.
    • Include LED lighting around the entire perimeter of the cold room’s sanitary profile: it consumes minimal energy and is easy to clean, preventing dirt from accumulating on the bulbs.
    • Include windows in the panels.
    • NEW Data Logger: now you can know and control the environmental conditions inside your MATRIX Cold room at any time and from anywhere.
    • For negative cold rooms, it can include an inner and outer plinth made from white PVC, with flexible lips and a concave outer finish. Fixing using concealed screws by a pressure cap integrated into the profile by co-extrusion.
    • Ventilation channels.
    • NEW Access ramp: lightweight and capable of supporting up to 800 kg of dynamic load, it has a galvanized steel structure and is coated in non-slip aluminium.
    • Strip curtains:
    • Made up of transparent PVC sheets 2 mm thick and 200 mm wide, with a polyethylene hinged support. Includes self-tapping screws for installation.
    • NEW interactive window:
    • Simply touch this window from the outside to turn on the light inside the cold room or open the door.
    • NEW glass door:
    • For positive cold rooms, combining the best features and technological advances with an avant-garde design that leaves no one indifferent.
    • NEW Automatic half-closed door:
    • It has sensors for opening from the outside, an inspection window for 60 mm thickness, and an aluminum perimeter trim.
    • NEW Pivot door:
    • Includes an AISI304 stainless steel strip, giving it a more modern look. It also has a new lock, which is more resistant, reliable, attractive, and integrated.
    • NEW sliding door and guide:
    • It has a high-performance AISI 304 stainless steel band and handle. With a new guide that is quick and easy to install thanks to its clip fastening.
